All installations done by Aircon Hyper Installers will be done with copper refrigerant pipe. Copper has a heat transfer coefficient higher than aluminium. That means, copper is a better heat exchanger than aluminium. Copper is more durable and less susceptible to corrosion than aluminium. Copper piping is longer lasting, and you are less likely to experience gas leaks. Quality is our priority.
Installation takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on the pipe run required for your installation. Included is the following: The back to back fitment of the indoor unit and condenser at a height of not more than 3meters. The Aircon Hyper installation kit
The cost of the back-to-back aircon installation (i.e. indoor unit located on the other side of the wall opposite the outdoor unit) with available plug point for the 9000btu, 12000btu, 18000btu and 24000btu The cost of this installation includes the following: Up to 3metres of refrigerant piping, drain pipe and cable Outdoor mounting bracket (if required) Installation to a maximum height of 3metres above ground level Drilling of one hole for piping Holes will be filled but not painted
Excludes electrical power supply. Where suitable power points are available these can be utilised. Larger units such as the 18000 – 24000 BTU units, may require an isolator. This is required to be installed prior to the installation of the airconditioner. Excludes decommissioning and removal of existing unit. This may be added at check out and scheduled for the same time slot as your installation. All builders/civils work is excluded, making good of holes, painting, etc. Working at heights and the scaffolding costs for work above 3m. Additional piping, this may be added to your cart on a per meter basis. Any repair costs relating to any faults identified while service takes place. Travel costs for areas outside of major areas must be confirmed with Aircon Hyper prior to service/installation Drain piping, trunking and condensate pumps are not included and are chargeable by the installer Certificate of Conformity (COC)
Includes 1 x Set of Brackets. Limited to Installation within 3m of the Swimming Pool Circulation Pump. Additional material to be charged for. Includes 2 x Isolation Valves and 1 x Bypass Valves. Includes Electrical Installation to the existing Pool Pump DB Board. Excludes Electrical Installation For 22kW and larger units. Should the supply to the pool pump DB be insufficient, an additional electrical work will be required and is clients responsibility.
Installations in areas outside major metropolis or in outlying areas must first be confirmed with Aircon Hyper as the closest installer may need to charge additional for traveling. If there is not an installer in the area, a refund will be processed. Excludes De-Installation of existing unit. All building work is excluded from this installation cost.
